January, 2011:Establishment of the European Network for the Study of Adrenal Tumors - Adrenal Cancer (ENS@T-CANCER) consortium funded by the seventh framework program of the European Union.. The European Network for the Study of Adrenal Tumors (ENS@T) implemented a collection of adrenal tumor related databases and defined an associated network of Biological Resource Centers devoted to research on adrenal tumors. The concurrence of recent achievements of this evolving network, the progress in the understanding of molecular mechanisms and increasing availability of specific diagnostic and therapeutic tools for adrenal cancers provides the unique opportunity to achieve unmatched progress in the implementation of both translation and clinical research dedicated to pheochromocytoma, paraganglioma and adrenocortical carcinoma.

September, 2009: International Patient and Health Care Professional Conference on Pheochromocytoma and Paraganglioma. This meeting supoorted by the Pheo-Para Alliance Patient Support Group was held in Parsippany, New Jersey, meeting on September 20-October 2. Leading researchers and physicians from around the world met along with patients and families for a comprehensive program covering diagnosis, genetics, management, and treatment of pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma.
